Our Story

In his daily work as an interventional electrophysiologist, Dr. Mohanad Mahfoud identified the lack of personalisation of current heart models to guide navigation in the complex geometry of the heart and to enable precise targeting within its information-rich anatomy. He started the VRAI-Heart project in 2021 by developing an innovative solution based on virtual reality enhanced by artificial intelligence, aiming at offering intuitive navigation in a patient-specific model.
